"The Royal Couple Take A Stand"

The "Royal Couple" has just been married today. One of the things however, that makes them stand out from other couples is their "gifts." Instead, of having people give gifts to them they have came together and picked out 26 charities in which, they want people to donate money to. They are calling their their contributions "The Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton Charitable Gift Fund."

Listed in their 26 charities is a nonprofit organization which, is called BeatBullying. It is said that Kate was bullied as a young girl and she wanted to create a charity that would allow people to donate towards the cause of bullying. In the UK the BeatBullying organization is a widely known organization and have worked greatly in the prevention of others.

In conclusion, if you are one of those that are against bullying and want to give the "Royal Couple" a gift you should donate some money to the BeatBullying charity. If you are one for making a different in someones life then you should consider donating your extra change!

Why do people bully?

Many have been bullied at one point in their lives. Many wonder why people choose to bully and why they choose a certain person. One of the reasons that many people bully is to attract attention to themselves. They always want to be the ones shining and in control. Also, one might bully because, they think that they are more superior to them. They may consider themselves superior because, of intelligence, social status, and financial status. The last reasonable reason why people bully is because, they want to achieve something that they don't think that they can achieve. They think that by pushing one around or bullying them they will become the ruler and think they are in control. So the next time you are being bullied you need to remember that you are not alone and that bullies feel insecure about themselves and that bullying you makes them feel better about themselves.

Samantha Shaw

I am sure that you have probably heard about Samantha Shaw. The first grader that had plastic surgery on her ears so she wouldn't be bullied anymore? Samantha Shaw has been bullied at school and has had enough of it. Her mother decided to allow her daughter to receive surgery to pin her ears back so she would not be bullied at school for her ears being large. The video clip that is shown is an interview shown with Samantha and her mom through her process of the surgery. This is a really brave girl to go through an extensive surgery to change her look. If I was Samantha I would have done the same things. I would get tired of kids making fun of the way that I looked. I would want to do something about it to.
